To initialize a SIM card, click <Initialize SIM> and insert the SIM card into the SIM card reader. Click <Initialize Card> when ready. Caution: This removes any data from the SIM Card.
Progress bars are displayed at the bottom of the screen. When the initialize is complete, a success prompt is displayed. If it is not successful, the errors are listed. If a SIM has already been initialized, it is normal for an error message to be displayed, and the initialize continues. If the error persists, try formatting the SIM and then initialize, followed by a re-format.
