To search the Portal database, enter the model of the cell phone into the “Search by Model” field.  Don’t enter the manufacturer name as part of the model number.   As the model number is entered devices that match the entry are displayed along with the manufacturer name in brackets. When the desired device is located, click on the name and then click <Search>. This displays photos of the device on the top, and general information for the device along the bottom.

The three major search options are the IMEI, ICCID, and Reverse IMSI lookups. There are also MCC/MNC and CC lookups.  Click the arrow next to the search option desired to open a dialog box

IMEI Search: Enter the International Mobile Equipment Identifier number of a GSM phone and obtain information on Brand, Model, Serial Number, and Band and Frequency the device is capable of using. It can also verify if the device matches the IMEI number on the data plate.

Where phone matches are found, a link to the phone data is provided. Clicking the link brings up the phone in the cell phone database.

IMSI to ICCID: Run a reverse International Mobile Subscriber Identity search from a device. The loaded reports may have the IMSI of the device and are found in the <Details> window. This can verify the Mobile country code and network code, Brand, Operator (AT&T, Verizon, TelCel, etc.), Status, Bands it can operate on and a possible ICCID of the SIM that was used. This possible number is a Best Guess and should be verified.
