Global contacts are a contact database that contains people, places, and organizations, and is stored independent of the reports and case repository. It can be used to build organizational charts, story boards, and larger contact databases for broader investigative use.
An icon for exporting the database is in the upper right of the main screen. Click this con to export the global contacts and associated files to an XML and zip package.
Initial View
Initial view of the Global Contacts main screen displays three main columns – Contacts, Organizations, and Known Places. There is a count of the items in each column next to the title.
Each column has a tool bar at the top to Add, Edit, Delete, or Search the records in each column.
